Eng. Heba Saad El Shamarka is an accomplished engineering and business leader with extensive experience in the natural gas and energy sectors. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering with honors in 1993.

Her career began at Gas Egypt, where she worked as a GIS Systems Engineer (1994–1997), responsible for designing and mapping natural gas networks. She then became Head of the Geographic Mapping Department (1997–2000). From 2000 to 2004, she led the GIS Department at Wadi El Nile for Natural Gas, a subsidiary of British Gas.

Between 2004 and 2007, Eng. Heba served as Business Development Director at Wadi El Nile, before becoming Group Business Development General Manager at TAQA Group (2007–2013), overseeing the development of multiple group companies and projects.

From 2016 to 2022, she held the position of Managing Director at Egy Capital Group, leading the company’s strategic growth and business expansion.
