Dr. Ahmed Darwesh
Dr. Ahmed Darwish is one of Egypt’s leading figures in public administration, technology, and economic development. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1988, and has over 30 years of distinguished academic and professional experience. He has held several key leadership positions, including Minister of State for Administrative Development, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and Professor of Computer Engineering at Cairo University.
Dr. Darwish has served as a consultant for numerous international organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations, and the European Commission, contributing significantly to administrative reform and governance strategies in Egypt and the region. He has received multiple prestigious awards, including Egypt’s State Encouragement Award and the Lifetime Achievement Medal from the University of California.
He is a renowned keynote speaker and expert at global conferences, with impactful contributions to e-government, transparency, and sustainable development.
